Regardless of whether your political party won or not, the only thing that matters most is your mindset. It’s the only thing you can control. Make a Decision to shape your own destiny and results by managing your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. When you really understand and live this way, you master your life.
Shape your sails to works with the wind. Be flexible. Be agile.
It’s how we navigate with the least amount if stress. Be a victor. Not a victim.
Today’s post might seem a little off the topic of binary options trading.
I want to talk about the effects of taking responsibility (or not) for your trading, and your life!
I don’t know about you, but my Facebook newsfeed has been bombarded over the past couple of months with US election propaganda. And now the election is over and the results are in, it seems there are people relying on Barack Obama to put an end to all their woes and make their lives less miserable. Had Mitt Romney won the presidency, the other half of the people would have been wanting him to do the same for them.
What these people don’t seem to realise, is only they have the power to make their lives better. Haven’t you noticed, that no matter what the economy, some will always flourish, while the masses whinge and complain?
Listen up people. Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, your mother, wife, husband, dog – none of these people are to blame if you have a miserable life, and none of these people can make your miserable life better. Only you can do that.
You are where you are because of the choices you have made in your life up until this moment. Take responsibility for it. Own it.
We recently had a client come on board who felt that he should not have to do the work to become a trader and that we should do everything for him. When he wasn’t making money within the first week (he wasn’t following our education and guidelines in any way, shape or form), it was our fault. This person will never be successful because he’s too busy blaming everyone else for what’s going wrong in his life. (He is no longer a client either).
We love to see our clients creating success – that’s why we’re here! But if they don’t take responsibility and learn how to do what we teach them, if they don’t focus, and study and show up every day, we can’t help. We provide all the tools, but it’s up to the individual to pick them up and use them.
When you play the blame game, you give away all your power to others. It means you have no control over your own life! Is that how you want to live? Do you want someone you have never met to hold all the cards and decide whether you are happy or not? I know I sure don’t.
Taking responsibility for you is not necessarily easy, but it is exhilarating and once you experience that freedom, you will be ready to fly!
